How many dogs will be walked at once ?
We are insured to walk groups of up to 6 dogs at a time. We make a professional decision about our group sizes according to the dogs being walked.
Where will my dog be walked ?
We are lucky enough to be surrounded by beautiful Hertfordshire countryside so have many options available. We tend to walk in the more rural areas rather than busy parks. The ‘our walks page’ has links to some beautiful walks that we do that you may like to enjoy with your dog.
My dog is nervous / not very friendly, can you still walk him/her ?
We understand the needs of different dogs and will always work with you to find out what is going to suit your dog the best. This may mean a lead walk, a solo walk provided by someone else or being grouped with a particular group of dogs.
Do I have to stick to the same days and times every week?
No. You can pick and choose your days and slot from week to week.
We ask clients to try and let us know by 16:00 on the Wednesday before the week they would like walks but are happy to take requests after this point too.
Do I have to leave you a key ?
Most clients are happy for us to hold their key. If you would rather we didn’t then you can set up an alternative such as a Key Safe or by making sure you are home for collection and drop off. Unfortunately we cannot agree to hide keys outside your property or leave keys through letter boxes.
What happens in an emergency ?
We will always try and contact you by the two emergency contact numbers you have provided. If we are unable to reach you we will take your dog/pet to your nominated vet or the nearest vet if more appropriate.
What if I want to cancel a walk /service ?
We charge a cancellation charge for less than 24 hours notice. We understand that sometimes situations cant be avoided so please talk to us and we will always do what we can and will try and be flexible.
Do I get discount for block bookings ?
We discount dogs that have 5 weekday walks with us throughout the year ( this offer is not available to term time dogs or dogs taking more than 4 weeks holiday a year )
